Dr. Kevin Long has lived in Broken Arrow for over 25 years. After graduating from Union High School he attended Oklahoma State University and graduated from the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Upon graduating he completed an internship in surgery and internal medicine while working at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatchewan, Canada. While working for the veterinary school at the University of Saskatchewan he was responsible for a busy small animal caseload and for the instruction of senior veterinary students.

He is married to his wife, Stacey, and has three sons Hudson, Nolan and Stephen.

Dr. Patrick Vickers grew up in Tulsa, and graduated from Bishop Kelley High School. He attended Oklahoma State University where he obtained degrees in both Animal Science & Microbiology before going on to graduate from the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. He has practiced in Broken Arrow and Tulsa ever since.

He is happily married to his wife, Ruth, and has two sons, Caleb and Lemuel.

Dr. Ashlea Wulf grew up in Broken Arrow, and graduated from the Broken Arrow Senior High School. She attended Oklahoma State University where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Zoology before going on to graduate from the Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.

She is happily married to her husband, Justin. She enjoys spending time at Ft. Gibson Lake and attending OSU athletic events.

Dr. Ashlea Wulf


Don Schmidt is the most recent veterinarian to join our Good Shepherd team, but he has practiced Veterinary Medicine in the Tulsa area for over 25 years. He and his wife Susan, along with their 2 teenage sons, Zach and Ryan, reside in the Bixby area. Dr. Schmidt's veterinary interests include endocrinology and soft tissue surgery. Weekends typically find him enjoying youth soccer or in the duck blind.
